Associate Vice Chancellor for Advancement Anne ShoupVice Chancellor for Advancement Deb Coffin has announced the appointment of Anne Shoup as associate vice chancellor for advancement, which was effective Nov. 26. 

Shoup brings exceptional experience in supporting the success of advancement organizations both in higher education and in the public/private sector. Over the past three years she has provided exemplary leadership to the College of Engineering and Applied Science advancement team, building a high performing team of professionals and achieving record-setting results in support of the college and the university as a whole. 

Her 18 years of experience in advancement will be instrumental in driving the university forward to achieve its strategic goals. Shoup has a strong track record of supporting and partnering with colleagues, the faculty, deans and assistant deans and demonstrates sincere commitment to the key value of ‘university first.’

After graduating from Princeton University, Shoup began her career as an advancement professional working in the arts and later for The Leelanau Conservancy and the Climate Reality Project. She joined CU in 2015. Shoup is passionate about CU Boulder’s research, teaching and service mission and will add incredible leadership and value to the university and the Office of Advancement moving forward.
