The suspect who burglarized some campus residence halls last month was allegedly spotted in Broomfield recently.
Last Tuesday, Broomfield Police reported that an adult male unnecessarily brushed up against a young girl on a couple of occasions on Nov. 23, inappropriately touching her while she was shopping at a local retail store. Video surveillance captured photos of the suspect.
Through additional investigation, Broomfield and CU Boulder police detectives determined the suspect was the same man who was caught on surveillance video breaking into residence halls on the CU Boulder campus in October.
The suspect allegedly stole women’s underwear from a residence hall laundry room. He committed thefts and other crimes in the Aden, Brackett, Cockerell and Crosman residence halls. At CU, he was seen wearing glasses and a black baseball cap.
