The city of Boulder is holding an on-campus open house this week to present results of the year-long 30th and Colorado Corridors Study, as well as to provide updated information on the Foothills Parkway bicycle and pedestrian underpass and the 30th and Colorado underpass.
All of these are projects that run through or are adjacent to the CU Boulder campus and could transform transportation in the area over the next 20-plus years.

The open house provides an opportunity for students, faculty, staff and the community to provide input on top-performing options for the corridors before city staff takes them before the Transportation Advisory Board and City Council for further feedback later this spring.
The meeting will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 3, at the Sustainability, Energy and Environment Community (SEEC), 4001 Discovery Drive, in room C120. Presentations will occur at 6:15 p.m. and 7:15 p.m.
The 30th and Colorado Corridors Study aims to lay out a multimodal transportation vision, not only for long stretches of 30th Street and Colorado Avenue that are adjacent to campus, but also for the portions of Colorado Avenue and 18th Street that run through the heart of campus.
The Foothills Parkway underpass project entails replacing the current pedestrian bridge that spans Foothills just south of Colorado Avenue, while the 30th and Colorado underpass project aims to enhance safety and improve transit stops at the busy intersection.
