CUPD seeking person of interest: Backpack thefts from Norlin

The CU Boulder Police Department is looking for the public’s help to identify a person of interest in backpack thefts from Norlin Library.

Dale Anthony Griffith is suspected of entering Norlin Library on two separate occasions, taking backpacks that had been momentarily abandoned while the victims went into the restroom and quickly leaving the library.

Griffith has been described as:

  • Black male
  • 5' 8"
  • 230 pounds
  • 49 years old
  • Graying dreadlocks
  • Black and gray beard

Included are photos of the person of interest taken in the area of the crime. If you have information about these crimes or recognize the person in these photos, please call CUPD at 303-492-6666.
