Active harmer training session slated for May 1

The Active Harmer Level 1 Class, offered by the CU Boulder Police Department, introduces attendees to the basic response options for imminent harm situations.

The course reviews basic statistical data and watches the video “Shots Fired!” as a group. After watching the video, the class will discuss how you should react if you ever find yourself in one of these situations. Every effort is made to address concerns, dispel myths and develop response options.

All faculty, staff and students on campus are encouraged to attend. If you attempt to register for the May 1 class and it is full, you will be added to the wait list and automatically notified if a spot becomes available. 

You'll need to bring your Buff OneCard as your admission ticket.
