Margaret Murnane, CU Boulder's STROBE NSF Science & Technology Center director, JILA fellow and physics distinguished professor, was one of two honored with the Science Foundation Ireland St. Patrick's Day Science Medal on March 14.

Now in its fifth year, the St. Patrick’s Day Science Medal is awarded annually to a distinguished Irish scientist, engineer or technology leader living and working in the United States. This year's award recognizes the outstanding contributions of Murnane in her respective area, as well as her role in supporting and engaging with the research ecosystem in Ireland.
