Nowruz, also known as the Persian New Year, is an ancient holiday that is celebrated worldwide. The Nowruz celebration at CU Boulder is recognized as the largest event observing this holiday in Colorado and is a fun learning opportunity for students of all backgrounds to learn more about Eastern cultures.

This year, the Persian Student Association and Cultural Events Board at CU Boulder are pleased to bring you contemporary Persian musician Arpege, stand-up comedian K-von, DJ Taba on the dance floor and several other performances introducing and celebrating Persian traditions and culture. 

The groups also will present a beautiful Haftsin table to further commemorate the cultural relevance and meaning that Nowruz offers. Light refreshments, including Persian chai and pastries, will be provided.

Seats are limited, so hurry and register for your tickets. Tickets are free for CU students with a valid Buff OneCard.
