The Jan. 23 grand opening event, open to the public, will feature time to enjoy the space, student innovation stories and a social hour with our innovation ecosystem on campus.

About the hub

The Startup Hub is intended to convene, educate and build community around innovation and entrepreneurship. Presently, there is no student hub for entrepreneurship on campus, and with Spark Boulder (a student-run coworking space off campus) no longer in operation, there is a need to fill this void.

The space is intended to provide:

  • Startup support
  • Coworking
  • Makerspace: VR station, 3-D printing and more
  • Entrepreneur speakers and workshops
  • Office hours with experts

While the primary residents of Williams Village are freshman, this space will be open to all students and will target upperclassmen and community mentors who are deeply involved in entrepreneurship.
