Melissa Hart
The nominating commission of the state supreme court this week nominated three candidates for an upcoming vacancy, one of whom is CU Boulder law professor Melissa Hart. Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper will ultimately choose the appointee within 15 days from Nov. 29, 2017.
Hart directs the Byron R. White Center for the Study of American Constitutional Law and is a sought-after expert on employment discrimination, civil procedure and constitutional law.
She was among three finalists for the Colorado Supreme Court in 2015, as well.
