Finalists in associate vice provost for faculty affairs search announced
Provost Russell L. Moore announced today the two finalists selected for the position of associate vice provost for faculty affairs. The finalists are Katherine Eggert, professor of English in the College of Arts and Sciences, and Michele Moses, professor of education in the School of Education.
Members of the campus community are invited to meet each candidate and ask questions during open forums to be held next week. Participants will have an opportunity after each forum to respond to a survey to provide input.

The associate vice provost for faculty affairs will work part-time in 2018 to assist the vice provost and associate vice chancellor for faculty affairs in managing personnel processes, specifically by chairing the Vice Chancellor's Advisory Committee (VCAC) and performing duties associated with that role; will assist in handling faculty personnel decisions and processes from hire to retirement, and may also engage with other members of the Office of Faculty Affairs on matters related to other policies and processes managed by the unit (such as Program Review).
