A campus emergency can happen at any moment. When it does, you will receive a text message warning you about the emergency as long as you have your contact information correct in MyCUInfo.

Today there are more and more mobile providers who use Wi-Fi over cell service for connectivity. We also know there are places around campus where the cell service is limited.

To cover that gap, CU Boulder has added the Alertus smartphone app to the methods available to receive CU Boulder Alerts. This free app uses Wi-Fi, rather than cell service, to receive the same emergency notification to your mobile phone or tablet.

If you have additional questions, see the FAQ page.

    Download the app

To get the Alertus app, follow three simple steps:

    1. Download “Alertus +” in your app store.
