Due to high demand and increasing popularity for the active harmer training classes, the CU Boulder Police Department (CUPD) is offering an additional session from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 17.

The level-one course introduces attendees to the basic response options for imminent harm situations. The class will review some basic statistical data and watch the video “Shots Fired!” as a group. After watching the video, the instructor will discuss how you should react if you ever find yourself in one of these situations. Every effort is made to address concerns, dispel myths and develop response options.

Please note the 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. sessions are already full. If you register for one of these classes, you will be added to the waitlist and automatically notified if a spot becomes available.

Advance registration is required, and you'll need to bring your Buff OneCard as your admission ticket.
