Why doesn't everyone agree with you about politics? The best explanation is they are being irrational—and not, for example, that political issues are especially difficult or that people lack sufficient information to resolve them.

If you go

Who: Open to the public
What: Think! talk "Why We Are Irrational About Politics"
When: Thursday, Sept. 21, 7:30 to 9 p.m.
Where: Education building, room 220

The bad news? You're probably being irrational, too.

Join Philosophy Professor Michael Huemer for his Think! talk "Why We Are Irrational About Politics." Huemer will discuss why people are especially irrational about this particular subject, and how and why they adopt the beliefs they want to adopt.

Think! is a series of public lectures sponsored by the Center for Values and Social Policy in the CU Boulder Philosophy Departmentand funded through the generosity of The Collins Foundation.

The lecture is free and intended for the public. Please email David Boonin at with any questions.
