All are welcome to join the CU Boulder Department of History for a new series of panel discussions and lectures addressing the theme of "Charlottesville in Historical Perspective".

What: "Charlottesville in Historical Perspective"
When: Tuesday, Sept. 19, 5 to 7 p.m.
Where: Duane Physics and Astrophysics, room G1B20

The first event, to be held Sept. 19, will feature short presentations by three faculty members—Barbara Demmig-Adams, Ralph Mann and Alphonse Keasley—who have personal experience with Nazism, the KKK and white supremacy. Their talks will be followed by a question-and-answer session for audience members with the panelists and other historians.

The department plans to put on a number of other events related to "Charlottesville in Historical Perspective," the exact contents of which will be determined in coordination with student interest and requests. Future events will be announced at a later time.
