Faculty members are invited to join the Research & Innovation Office (RIO) for a panel discussion and research funding workshop focused on the National Science Foundation's (NSF) Major Research Instrumentation (MRI) Program.

The MRI Program is designed to increase access to shared scientific and engineering instruments for research and training in higher education institutions, non-profit museums, science centers and research organizations.

The Sept. 6 panel will feature CU Boulder MRI grantees, who will share strategies for proposal development and answer questions from attendees.

This is a limited submission program, which means RIO administers an internal campus competition to determine the applicant(s) who will submit proposals to NSF for major instrumentation acquisition or development.
