When: Saturday, May 6, 2 to 5 p.m.

The Global Ambassadors, made up of 16 alumni representatives from around the world, are dedicated to thinking through the chancellor’s top priorities—impacting humanity, shaping tomorrow’s leaders and being the top university for innovation—in an international context.

The Go Global event will offer students the chance to connect with prominent alumni, international dignitaries and campus leaders. Chancellor Philip DiStefano will offer opening remarks followed by two panel sessions: Building a Global Career and Developing Your Global Leadership Skills.

The board was first formed by DiStefano in August 2016, when he hosted the inaugural members in Florence, Italy, to discuss the global future of the university.

Among the goals of that first meeting were to walk away with plans to integrate the CU Boulder teaching and learning community into their business and professional communities around the world and to begin exploring opportunities in the areas of industry, study abroad and recruitment.
