For the Health of It: Using Yoga to Support Trauma Recovery
Sexual assault, violence and abuse impact all communities, including college campuses. About one in four females, one in six males, and one in two transgender people experience some form of sexual violence or abuse in their lifetime.
The OVA (Office of Victim Assistance) is a place of support for CU students, staff and faculty. If you or someone you care about has been impacted by sexual violence, whether recently or in the past, the OVA offers free and confidential counseling, support and advocacy.
For more information please call 303-492-8855 or visit the OVA website (see the Get Help section for more specific information on this topic).
A variety of awareness events will be posted on the OVA Facebook page throughout the month of April. A full list of events can be found on the OVA website.
