CU Honor Code recruiting new panelists

The CU Honor Code is recruiting new panelists. This volunteer position helps secure our campus environment as a place where academic integrity can flourish.

What does a panelist do?

Panelists follow the principles of honesty, trust, fairness and responsibility when participating in Honor Code hearings. As a panelist, one will sit-in on Honor Code hearings for students who have denied responsibility of a violation. A panelist is expected to work with other panelists to reach a determination of responsibility in regard to the evidence provided. Volunteering a few hours per month is dependent on panelist's schedule. Participating as a panelist helps uphold integrity on our campus, looks terrific on your resume, and gets you involved in a prestigious, respected student run organization.

How to apply?

Visit the Honor Code website Colorado.edu/HonorCode then select the student tab in the top left corner of the homepage. Under the heading “Get Involved” you will see a link to Hearing Panelist Application. Follow this link, tell us a little about yourself, and a member of the Honor Code Council will review your application.
