Through ancient models of poetry, music and art, the multimedia solo violin program Personae delves into the essence of human emotion in a modern context.

The program, arranged and performed by Leslee Smucker, is based on the poetry and music of Ezra Pound. Pound is known as one of the first poets to encompass modernism, and he also composed music based on poetry.

Additional collaborations featured in the event include musical compositions by Egemen Kesikli and JP Merz, video by Jacob Landis-Eigsti and poetry by Jesse Nathan.

Catch Personae at one of two performances on March 3 or 4 at the ATLAS Black Box Theater. This event is free and open to the public.
