Pendulum New Music electro-acoustic event

The Pendulum New Music concert series aims to make Boulder a destination for new music through both live and online concert experiences, encouraging composers and performers to incorporate diversity and innovation in their music.

Now in its 16th season, the series premieres original music of CU Boulder composers and highlights a faculty or guest performance each month.

The Feb. 22 event features a fixed-media premiere by Swiss-American guest composer Katharina Rosenberger, as well as a piano solo performed by Hsing-ay Hsu, director of Pendulum. The event will also feature several world premieres by artists Sean Winters, Kevin Michael Olson, Eric Mulhern and Lukas Moldawsky.

Attendees of this month's concert will vote for the winner of the fourth annual 64-Bit e-music competition finals.

The event is co-presented by CU Boulder's ATLAS Center for Media, Art and Performance.
