The University of Colorado Boulder Research & Innovation Office (RIO) invites faculty to a writing workshop that will provide information on NSF CAREER requirements and concrete suggestions on how to write a competitive proposal (due in July 2017). The event will also feature a panel discussion with current CU Boulder CAREER awardees, noted below.

  • Joel Eaves, assistant professor of chemistry and biochemistry and 2015 CAREER recipient
  • Nancy Emery, assistant professor of ecology and evolutionary biology and 2016 CAREER recipient
  • Tom Yeh, assistant professor of computer science and 2015 CAREER recipient
  • Don Wilkerson, senior instructor at Program for Writing and Rhetoric

NSF encourages applications from early-career faculty, especially women, members of underrepresented minority groups and persons with disabilities.

Registration for the writing workshop is required, as space is limited. RSVP online by Friday, Feb. 10, at 5 p.m.
