Cybersecurity: Joe McManus is an expert in network security, network forensics and Internet-of-Things security. He can discuss issues related to hacking, forensics and the current threat landscape. Life in Russia under Putin: Sarah Wilson Sokhey has studied economic and social reform in Russia and the post-communist countries of Central and Eastern Europe for more than a decade. She is affiliated with the Higher School of Economics in Moscow and is a member of PONARS Eurasia, a network of over 100 academics specializing in Russia and Eurasia. Her research focuses on social policy, including pension reform, health care policies and state-sponsored higher education. Russian foreign relations: John O’Loughlin’s research on Russia has centered on Russia’s geopolitics and foreign policy toward Ukraine, internal conflicts within Russia (especially the North Caucasus), the creation and survival of Russian-supported separatist regions in the former Soviet Union and the conflict in Ukraine. A professor of distinction in geography and a faculty associate in the Institute of Behavioral Science, he has conducted field work throughout the former Soviet Union for 25 years.
