The No. 11-ranked Colorado Buffaloes will face the No. 13 Oklahoma State Cowboys in the Valero Alamo Bowl on Thursday, Dec. 29 in their first bowl game since 2007. The football team arrived in San Antonio on Dec. 24 and has had a busy schedule of practice, media interviews and events. So far, players have visited patients at the San Antonio Military Medical Center, swum with dolphins at SeaWorld San Antonio and attended a Spurs basketball game on Christmas Day.

CU representatives and other Buffs fans arrived in San Antonio this morning. To kick things off, Chancellor Phil DiStefano, Athletic Director Rick George, Coach Mike MacIntyre and Alumni Association head Ryan Chreist welcomed fans at a luncheon at the team hotel. See a photo and video gallery of today’s events: Thousands of Buffs fans have already arrived, or soon will, in San Antonio. Later tonight, the CU Buffs and Oklahoma State Cowboys will participate in the Rudy’s Bar-B-Q Pep Rally on boats along the Riverwalk.
