The University of Colorado Boulder closed its employee housing survey Monday, Nov. 21, receiving a response rate of 49 percent.

The survey, which opened Oct. 31, reached over 7,300 CU Boulder faculty and staff members. The results are meant to provide a better understanding of employees' needs and preferences amidst the high housing costs in the Boulder area and guide decisions regarding potential housing assistance programs.

For more background information, see previous CU Boulder Today articles published Nov. 1 and Nov. 17.

Employees who completed the housing survey were entered into a drawing for one of four gift certificates to the CU Book Store. Winners will be contacted this week (Dec. 6) via their university-provided email addresses.

An update regarding survey responses and further actions will be provided in spring semester 2017.
