The 22nd annual Diversity and Inclusion Summit, "Building the Roadmap: I am Because We Are," will be held on campus Nov. 8-9. This year, the summit is hosting a "Building an Equitable Model Contest" open to CU Boulder students. The contest includes two $500 prizes.

Contest details:

Call for submissions: On the topic of dismantling existing oppressive and discriminatory systems while building equitable models. Open to CU Boulder students. 

Two categories for entries:  Submit 1) an essay, or 2)  an artistic rendering (e.g., murals, poetry/spoken word, performance pieces, musical compositions, etc.) plus an artist statement.

Two prizes: $500 for an essay and $500 for an artistic rendering.

Closing date for all entries: Oct. 17.

Recipients must be available to present their essay or rendering at the 2016 Diversity and Inclusion Summit scheduled for Nov. 8-9.
