Jane Goodall lecture moves to Coors Events Center

Due to popular demand, the Oct. 1 George Gamow Memorial Lecture featuring Dr. Jane Goodall has been moved to the Coors Events Center from Macky Auditorium. Tickets already issued for the event will be honored. An announcement on expanded seating for the event will be made next week. 

“We apologize for the confusion caused by the communication and logistical difficulties with ticketing today,” said Paul Beale, chair of the Physics Department, which sponsors the Gamow lecture.

"We wanted to make this right and ensure that those interested could attend. I want to thank our Athletic Department for helping us with rescheduling the event in the Coors Events Center," Beale added. "This will be the largest Gamow lecture in CU-Boulder history, and our campus and Boulder communities will benefit greatly from the visit of one of the most important scientists of our time.”
