‘South Park’ Producer Eric Stough to speak at CU-Boulder spring commencement

The University of Colorado Boulder Senior Class Council has worked with various campus centers to bring Eric Stough, producer/animation director of “South Park,” as the keynote speaker for CU-Boulder spring commencement ceremony on Friday, May 9, at 8:30 a.m. in Folsom Field.

Stough, who graduated from CU-Boulder with a film degree in 1995, reflects the student body at CU in the many ways including his motivation, thinking outside-of-the-box, and helping to create one of TV’s most popular animated series featured on Comedy Central, according to Erica Rozbruch, CU-Boulder Senior Class Council president.

“Stough’s story is an inspiration to students as he jump-started his career while at CU,” said Rozbruch. “The Senior Class Council feels that Stough exemplifies someone who has followed his passion by taking a creative path to success and he can deliver a powerful and universal message to our commencement audience.”
