Bethany Rachel

Bethany Rachel (she/her) is excited to serve the talented students, staff, and faculty as Production Coordinator. She earned her BA in Theatre from Henderson State University and MA in Theatre/Speech from Louisiana Tech University.

 

Bethany lifts artists up as a freelance stage manager for burlesque, dance, opera and theatre. Companies she has worked with include NX5 Theatrical LLC, Phamaly Theatre (CO), Boston Lyric Opera (MA), Boston Baroque (MA), Huntington Theatre (MA), New Bedford Festival Theatre (MA), Wagon Wheel for the Arts (IN), Monomoy Theatre (MA), and Rocky Mountain Theatre for Kids (CO).

 

Before joining CU Boulder, Bethany served as a resident stage manager and was later promoted to principal stage manager at Boston Conservatory at Berklee. She loves to share her stage management knowledge with students with hopes to replace harmful white supremacy culture traits with healthier practices and compassion.

 

When not backstage or in the office, Bethany relaxes by crafting, reading, playing video games, and going on adventures with family and friends. Proverbs 3:3
