Allison Wilson

Allison Wilson is a first-year MA student in Theatre & Performance Studies. She also has a certificate in Applied Shakespeare from CU Boulder (2022) and a BA in Theatre Arts - Directing Emphasis and English from Rollins College with honors (2020). Her research and practice interests include directing, dramaturgy, Early Modern Drama, gender and sexuality, improv, intimacy and consent, and pop culture. She is thrilled to have started off her grad school adventure as Assistant Director for The Revolutionists. Before coming to Colorado, she worked variously as a director, dramaturg, lecturer, and performer for the Annie Russell Theatre, Baltimore Shakespeare Factory, DC Arts Center, Lovewell Institute for the Creative Arts, The Improv Place, Rockville Little Theatre, and Washington Improv Theater. Additionally, she runs a blog highlighting feminist and queer contributions to Shakespeare: fromwomenseyes.com.
