Do you know a staff member who deserves recognition for their hard work? Nominate them through Staff Council’s Brightest Buff Peer to Peer Recognition Program! The Brightest Buff Award was implemented last year as a simple peer-to-peer recognition program for all CU Boulder staff.

Learn another language with ALTEC this fall. Open to adults worldwide, our lineup of 22 remote, non-credit bearing language classes feature multiple levels of American Sign Language, Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese and Spanish.
Paper Cranes Created at 2019 Fall Diversity & Inclusion Summit Find a Home
Staff Council coordinated folding of peace cranes at the Diversity and Inclusions Summit in November 2019. Summit participants were asked to take a few moments to engage with each other, write a message of hope on the origami paper, and then fold the message into a crane.

Inclusive Blood Donation Resolution
On June 2, 2021, Staff Council approved a resolution to advocate for inclusivity in blood donations. We stand against the discriminatory policy that effectively bars homosexual and bisexual men from donating blood. Staff Council is fighting to change this.
