Aikido is a Japanese martial art and the highest form of non-violent self defense in which the defender joins forces with their attacker to neutralize the attack without injury to either. It is a collaborative discipline for training mind, body and spirit in a unified whole, creating harmony and justice out of violence. The training is rigorous yet relaxed, with an emphasis on posture, balance, and spiral movement. Class will be located in the Medium Group Fitness Studio.
