We are extremely excited to hold the annual Colorado Meet again this year on 7-9 March 2024. This year there will be 5 events: Endurance Race, Shooting (Pistol and Rifle) Competition, Knowledge Competition, Drill (Squad and Platoon) Competition, and Color Guard Competition. Please fill out the attached Interest form to help us get an idea of expected numbers and the chance to ask questions. We are excited to see your schools compete in this year's Colorado Meet.

Colorado Meet
Endurance Race

The Endurance Race is a long distance competition including but not limited to swimming, calisthenics, and running through the Boulder mountains.

E-Race teams will consist of 6 members. One female must compete. A maximum of one MECEP/OC is allowed to compete.

DUE TO LOCAL LAW, IF ANY NON-ROTC PERSON ASKS, THIS EVENT IS A FUN RUN. NOT A RACE.

Drill Events (Platoon, Squad, Color Guard)

The Squad and Platoon Drill will be graded according to the USMC Drill Manual Squad and Platoon Drill. The Color Guard Competition will be graded according to the USMC Drill Manual Color Guard. 

The Platoon Drill teams will consist of 1 unit leader, 1 guide, platoon minimum of 18 competitors and maximum of 30 competitors, squads must be even, no MECEP/OC.

The Squad Drill teams will consist of 1 unit leader with minimum of 6 competitors and maximum of 13 competitors, no MECEP/OC.

The Color Guard Competition teams will consist of 5 competitors, no MECEP/OC, perspective colors need to be carried by specific branch.

Shooting Competition

The Rifle and Pistol Competition are shooting competitions based on target shooting.

The Pistol Competition teams will consist of 5 competitiors, no MECEP/OC.

The Rifle Competition teams will consist of 5 competitiors, no MECEP/OC.

Knowledge Competition

The Knowledge Competition is a test of individual and group knowledge based on USN and USMC information.

Knowledge Competition teams will consist of 4 competitors, must have at least 1 Marine and 1 Navy member, no MECEP/OC.
