Provost Russell Moore today announced he has granted an extension of the search for a dean of the College of Music, with the goal of having a new dean named by the close of the fall 2020 semester.
“Due to the challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic, College of Music dean search chair Katherine Eggert has asked for, and I have granted, an extension of the search timeline,” said Moore.
Eggert, who serves as senior vice provost for academic planning and assessment, said “the search committee’s plan is to host on-campus interviews beginning in the fall semester.”
