Katlyn Econom joined the Department of Linguistics in August 2025. She earned her B.A. in English from Virginia Tech and her M.A. in Linguistics from University College London. In 2018, Katlyn joined Teach for America and taught ninth-grade English in Jacksonville, Florida for five years. She enjoys exploring nature, traveling, and attending the theatre.
