This award is intended to recognize and foster student leaders in our community, and student leaders with a strong global perspective. An International Affairs global leader is engaged, and has strong concern for the International Affairs community; he or she becomes involved in issues affecting students and the program in general, and has a strong interest in service. An International Affairs global leader shows initiative, bringing new ideas to internationally-related activities and moving student organizations in positive directions. An International Affairs global leader also makes meaningful connections between the local and the global: he or she recognizes that what happens at CU-Boulder is connected to the world.
