Administrative Council

The Admin Council provides a faculty advisory capacity to the dean. Members of the Admin Council are the department chairs and program directors of the college. Council membership is coincident with department/program elected leadership responsibilities. Input and discussion center on budget, governance, policy and other cross-college matters. The associate and assistant deans also participate in Admin Council meetings. Meetings are held monthly.

The First Level Review Committee serves as a college committee. It is charged with providing independent recommendations on reappointment, promotion, and tenure based on an assessment of the research, teaching, and service contributions of each candidate and their future potential. Approximately 12 full professors are appointed, following discussion by the dean and the department chairs.
