2026 School of Education Graduation Recognition Ceremony & Reception
Saturday, May 2, 2026 from 4 - 7 p.m. Macky Auditorium, reception to follow ceremony on Sewall Lawn
The School of Education Graduation Recognition Ceremony is held each spring for summer, fall, and eligible spring graduates of our bachelor's, teacher licensure, minor, certificate, master's, and doctoral programs, as well as our community scholars from programs housed in the School of Education. Summer graduates are invited to participate in our ceremony the semester prior to or immediately following graduation from CU Boulder.
- 4 p.m. MT: Students line up; families can find seats in Macky
- 4:30 p.m. MT: Ceremony start
- The ceremony will last approximately one hour with a reception for graduates, family, and friends to follow.

Our School of Education Graduation Ceremony is a special time to celebrate our students. Each year, we invite student speakers to tell their stories at the ceremony. Have a story to tell, or want to nominate a fellow classmate to speak? Please submit your nominations by March 27, and speakers will be selected and notified in mid-April.
CU Boulder's commencement ceremony will begin at 8:30 a.m. MDT Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Folsom Field stadium. No tickets or registration are required for guests of the graduating students. Learn more at the commencement website.
