Undergraduate
The Undergraduate program in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology offers a highly interactive, intellectual environment that prepares students for a career in the natural sciences and across a diverse range of disciplines.
The EBIO department promotes and supports scholarly achievement and trains students for a variety of professional careers so that graduates are well-positioned to pursue a wide range of opportunities and career options, including, but not limited to, research, internships, professional school (graduate, medical, dental and law), education, wildlife biology, resource management, environmental consulting, and various research positions with academic, government, industry, and non-profit organizations.
What is unique about the University of Colorado Boulder EBIO program?
We have one of the lowest faculty-to-student ratios in biology. We provide our students with personal attention and help place students in labs to work with faculty.
Students can take classes outside the major that count for EBIO credits, which lets them explore other fields or double major.
