VoiceThread has been retired as a common good service at CU as of May 30, 2025. However, instructors and students can still access their information via their existing accounts. Please go to this OIT webpage for more information:

VoiceThread is a tool that allows you and your students to engage with course material via text, audio, or video. You can use VoiceThread to pre-record lectures with slides to post for your students to watch, or display a document or image. This could be followed by a live synchronous Zoom discussion. Alternatively, you can facilitate an asynchronous student discussion via VoiceThread. Students can contribute to the discussion with a written response, or with a video or audio response. 

VoiceThread is available as an integration in Canvas, or via the VoiceThread Mobile App.
