Appeal for Reinstatement Based on Coursework Completed Outside of CU

This petition is a request to be reinstated to main campus classes in the College of Arts and Sciences at CU Boulder. We encourage you to meet with your academic advisor to ensure that you are eligible for reinstatement.

Please do not submit this petition if you fall into one of these categories:

  1. Your CU cumulative GPA is 2.000 or higher (Note: You are eligible for reinstatement without a petition. Contact the Reinstatement Petition Desk at 303-492-5310 and inform them that your CU GPA is now a 2.000 or higher. Your request will be verified and processed).
  2. You have not attempted to raise your GPA by taking course work since your suspension.

You should submit this petition if you have taken coursework outside of the CU system and your cumulative GPA (at CU combined with your grades and credits taken at another institution after your suspension) is a 2.000 or higher. If your combined "virtual" GPA is not a 2.000 or higher, please connect with an academic advisor to discuss your options.
