Program Manager for Alumni Relations and Events
Sue joined the Advancement team in the College of Arts & Sciences, Graduate School and Research Institutes in September 2017. She is responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive alumni relations plan for the college. Sue is also a member of the advisory board for the CU Advocates. Go Buffs!
Prior to joining CU, Sue was the Federal Policy Representative for the Colorado Association of Commerce and Industry and was instrumental in building CACI’s first federal program. In addition, she was the Director of Federal Government Affairs for Intrado Inc., where she was responsible for managing the company's federal outreach efforts.
Sue earned a B.A. in Political Science from Rutgers University, in New Brunswick, New Jersey, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude.
Sue currently lives in North Boulder with her husband, Mike. In her free time, she enjoys reading, yoga, running the trails and savoring a glass of wine with her close friends.
Program Manager, Events and Special Programs
Catherine is a Program Manager for Events and Special Programs with the College of Arts and Sciences and the Graduate School. She works with their acknowledgement programs, events and programs designed to increase alumni engagement and deepen donors’ ties to CU.
Catherine has over 10 years of experience in event planning, encompassing corporate and non-profit settings. Most recently, she worked for a research study through University of Colorado after spending four years in the field of supply chain. She has an MBA from Colorado State University and a research-oriented B.S. in nutrition. Overall, she has a passion for people and for finding creative solutions that help draw people together.
Catherine and her husband, Tuss, enjoy spending time outdoors, especially camping and hiking, with the occasional bike ride or round of golf. Catherine also enjoy baking and volunteering her time with non-profits.
