Sandy Brown

Sandy joined the Department of Applied Mathematics as the Business Manager in May of 2025.  She oversees the department’s budget, financial operations and administrative processes, supporting faculty, staff and students in their academic and research activities.  Sandy joined CU Boulder in 2012 and has over a decade of experience in higher education administration.  She values open communication and believes in creating an environment where mutual respect guides every interaction.  Sandy loves living in Colorado, exploring the mountains and the outdoors, and enjoying live music.
