| Event Description: Bjorn Berntson, Department of Mathematics, University College London Delay-differential equations with elliptic solutions Delay-differential equations involve shifts and derivatives with respect to the same variable. Some nonlinear equations in this class admit families of elliptic function solutions. I will give some examples of these equations and discuss the connection with the classical Painlevé equations. |
