Biography

Don has been teaching at the University of Colorado - Boulder since Fall 2008. He has taught the Introduction To Business (BCOR 1010) and Corporate Applications Of Social Responsibility (BCOR 3010) in the Leeds CESR program. Don has also taught an Excel Lab (BADM 2010), taught in the Business Residential Academic Program (RAP) since Fall 2011 and has been a guest lecturer in several Leeds Business School management courses. Don has an Associate Degree in Computer Science from SUNY – Farmingdale, a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Ramapo College and a MBA in Finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University.

Don has recently retired from IBM with over 36 1/2 years of business experience in various management, operational and leadership positions. He has served on the INROADS/Colorado Inc. Board of Directors, Junior Achievement/Rocky Mountain Inc. Board of Directors, Longmont Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and is a past board chair of the Ed & Ruth Lehman YMCA. Don is currently serving on the Advisory Board for Front Range Community College.

Don was born and raised on Long Island, New York, and now lives with his wife Cathy, who also works for IBM, in Longmont, CO and they have a daughter, Kimberly, who graduated from Colorado State University. Don’s hobbies include sporting events, golf and reading.
