Facilitated by Amanda Seal McAndrew, Senior Teaching and Learning Consultant

Are you interested in moving beyond PowerPoint? Would you like to know more about how to get started with and leverage the pedagogical benefits of Prezi – a non-linear, web-based presentation tool? In this interactive workshop, participants will learn the basics of Prezi while also examining the way in which it can support evidence-based teaching and learning practices. To begin, participants will examine example presentationsand review the basic functionalities of Prezi. During the second half of the workshop, laptops will be provided and participants are will be given the opportunity to create their own Prezi’s. All are encouraged to bring presentations or lectures with them that they would like to create or recreate in Prezi. Each participant will be offered individualized support so that they may explore the capabilities of Prezi that best fit with their unique needs and pedagogical approaches.
