How can you find out if your students are learning what you want them to? This workshop will focus on quick and easy ways to collect information about students’ learning to better inform your teaching and assessment. Many of these strategies, such as minute papers and online discussion posts, simultaneously help students improve their learning. We will also discuss bottlenecks in student learning and threshold concepts they need to master before moving to new course material. These bottlenecks and threshold concepts are often important focal points for assessing student learning.
No registration required.
