Midsemester Clickers Intensive: Questions, Challenges, and Going Deeper

How can you get students to discuss clicker questions with one another?  How do you hear answers from students beyond the first row?   In this workshop (brand new for FTEP), we invite instructors who are in the process of using clickers to come share the questions and challenges that have cropped up so far.  Don't just struggle on, come get tips on how to overcome common difficulties.  This workshop will focus on questions around the effective facilitation of "peer instruction," where students are asked to discuss challenging questions with each other, enhancing their learning.  A limited number of technical questions will be addressed.    We will discuss how to continue to deepen your instructional use of clickers, on your way to clicker mastery!  This workshop is especially appropriate for those who have attended a previous workshop on clickers with Dr. Chasteen.

To register, please contact Stephanie.Chasteen@colorado.edu. Include a list of 2-5 questions or challenges that you would like to address in the workshop.
