- Weather permitting, Facilities Management Outdoor Services will conduct two separate applications of the pre-emergent herbicides Pendulum 2G and Gallery 75DF to limited campus landscape beds beginning March 23 through March 31.
- Join leading experts for the BUENO Center's 2017 Summer Institute "From the Past into the Future: Equity, Justice, and Diversity," addressing topics such as biliteracy instruction, English language development, special education and family and community engagement. Early-bird registration closes Friday, March 31.
- All faculty and staff who want to receive emergency text message alerts, even those who have opted in previously, must log in to MyCUinfo to update their contact information. The spring test for CU Boulder Alerts will be held at noon on Wednesday, March 22. Faculty and staff will not receive a text alert until they complete the enrollment steps.
- Faculty and staff interested in applying for a 2017–18 CU Boulder Outreach Award are invited to attend the April 4 brown bag session to learn about award criteria and how to apply.
- After Friday, March 17, all university-owned Macs will stop receiving updates from Sophos and will no longer be protected from malware. Please make sure you have the correct antivirus software installed today.
- Do you know an outstanding Buff, someone who has made a difference on campus, in the community or at work? Of course you do! Nominate him or her for an Alumni Award by April 3.
- In fall 2016 the Faculty Course Questionnaire (FCQ) Redesign Project began the process of reevaluating the current FCQ, exploring different questions and administration instruments.
- The Research & Innovation Office (RIO) is now accepting nominations for the 2017 Distinguished Research Lectureship, which honors a tenured faculty member recognized for a distinguished body of achievement and prominence.
- The League of American Bicyclists has recognized CU Boulder with the Gold Bicycle Friendly University award, placing CU in a cutting-edge group of colleges and universities across the U.S. transforming their campuses and the communities around them.
