Out in STEM Symposium
The Out in STEM Symposium is an annual event held each spring by oSTEM @ the University of Colorado, Boulder to celebrate and empower LGBTQ+ students in STEM fields. Events held during previous symposiums have included professional panels, affinity groups for LGBTQ+ students with intersectional identities, games, social events, keynote speakers, and a graduate student research roundtable.
The 2024 symposium will take place on March 18th from 7:00 to 8:00 P.M. in the BOLD Center (ECCE 100). Attendees will be provided dinner at no personal expense. Gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian options will be available.
We are currently seeking panelists for this year's symposium. If you are a professional, undergraduate, or graduate student and would like to participate in the 2024 panel, please contact us at ostemboard@colorado.edu.
We want the content of our symposium to reflect the interests of our club members. If you would like to see a particular topic be discussed, have any questions you would like to ask during the symposium, or believe you know someone that would be a great fit amongst our panelists, please fill out our symposium interest form.
