What is oSTEM @ CU?

We are CU Boulder’s chapter of Out in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (oSTEM) Inc, a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit professional organization for LGBTQ+ people in the STEM community. Find out more about oSTEM, Inc. here.

How can I get involved in oSTEM @ CU?

The easiest way to get involved is to attend our weekly club meetings! We also provide various volunteering opportunities for our members throughout the school year, especially for larger events that we hold, such as the annual Out in STEM Symposium. To get in touch with us, you can email us at ostemboard@colorado.edu. You can also join our email list, where we send out weekly newsletters.

When/where are weekly meetings held?

For the spring 2024 semester, weekly oSTEM meetings will be held on Mondays from 7-8 PM Mountain Time in the BOLD Center (ECCE 100). You can find information about our programming on our Instagram, LinkedIn, newsletter, and Discord server.

How do I become a member of oSTEM @ CU?

 

Joining oSTEM @ the University of Colorado, Boulder as a student member is completely free; we have no chapter or national dues. Simply come to our weekly meetings to become a member!

 

To be considered an Official Member, we require you to attend five meetings for a semester.
